I'm from Estonia, but left there long time ago. Lived in the US, China & Belarus before moving to Japan where I've been living since January 2014. Recently retired from an amazing job that tought me a lot and moved from Tokyo to a countryside.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To surf and host (mostly surf since I'm rarely home)

Interests

Traveling (at least every Weekend)
Learning new things (including at school and online)
Hanging out with friends and family (and travelling with them)
Eating chocolate (used to miss it so much when I lived in China!), nuts (almonds, pine nuts, cashews), blue cheese, natto, humus, curry and pretty much everything else!
Drinking green tea (and fruit tea, and cocoa, and tapioca milk tea)
Hitchhiking (it used to be very easy in Japan before COVID-19)
Board games (there's a meet-up in Tokyo every Sunday, I used to go there a lot)
Hot springs (2-3 times a week)

Music, Movies, and Books

The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia - my Dad read these two series of books before bed to me and my younger sister when we were little kids.

I like to learn foreign languages, and I can teach some. I'm always happy to share my travel experience with other hosts, surfers and travelers
