Hello!

I'm Tiia, I'm 21 years old and I study early childhood education. I got introduced to couchsurfing by a friend and I haven't got much experience in this myself but I'm excited to try it out! Seems like an awesome way to get new experiences and travel cost-effectively while also being able to offer other people the same experiences. I love travelling and learning about other countries and cultures, and couchsurfing feels like a perfect way to get some new experiences in that area! Because I know myself that staying with a local usually beats staying in a hostel or other accommodation place.

I would consider myself to be a somewhat creative person; I'm always up for trying out new things and exploring! I love music festivals and plants and the color yellow. I like taking long walks in the nature and listening to people talk about the things they're passionate about.

I've always loved learning languages and in addition to Finnish and English I do speak some Swedish and German, as well as bits and pieces of other languages. If you speak another language, I would love to learn a word or two in your language!
