Overview
About Me
I'm a fool at heart: curious, playful and empathic. I can also take things pretty seriously, like the important stuff: natural world being destroyed, people acting like monsters, you know, that. But still, I try to not BE serious. Silly is good.
I cultivate a growth mindset and pay attention to things happening around and within me. Life is an awesome phenomenon, biologically and philosophically.
I'm also a bit of a nerd and would like to move into a magical fantasy world, if ever possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a big fan of goodness in people, and I think couchsurfing brings it out nicely.
When I travel, I wanna meet and spend time with interesting people who know the place I'm visiting. I'm much more interested in the, hm, spirit of the place than, say, churches and statues.
Interests
I'm somewhat seasonal in my interests, but there are recurring themes: theatre, stories, everything about nature and a lot of science, emotions and big talk.
At the moment I'm especially interested in rpg's, both table-top and live-action! Also, the new Zelda.
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy immersive things. So movies that make me laugh or cry or think, music that makes me dance or sing or halt, books that make me forget the world around me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 10, I once did a split. Only once. Also, the one single time I was able to float! That was in Tasmania, I suppose the ocean water had a high enough salinity that it supported even my sinking body. That was pretty amazing. I've also been told it's amazing that I can eat just a few pieces of chocolate instead of the entire bar.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to share time and stories! Learning and teaching stuff can happen as a lovely side effect.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook something and give you a made-up, sometimes accidentally insightful tarot reading.
