ABOUT ME

We are a young couple, Tiina is 23 years old and Jooa is 25. Tiina studies mathematics at the university of Helsinki, but will change school next autumn. Jooa has completed his studies, and works as a dental technician in a laboratory (=he makes teeth for people who lost some).

At the moment we live in a bohemian part of Helsinki, called Kallio. We have rented a 2 bedroom flat, and as we share one of them, the other one works as a guestroom. The closest metro station is 100 meters away (called Sörnäinen). Also several buslines and some trams have stops there. You can practically reach the centre of Helsinki in less than 15 minutes from our door.

Our little family will soon grow with 2 canarian birds. They will not be very loud, so unless you're allergic, they shouldn't bother our guests. Their cage will be in our livingroom, so you won't have to share the room with them.

We are both very social and like going out. The nightlife in this region is very active, and apart from showing our guests the city, we would also love to take you out to see the nightlife for yourself.

In our guestroom we have beds for maximum of 3 people. There's a 120 cm wide bed and a good matress. All people of any gender, religion or nationality are welcome here. :) Unfortunately we aren't allowed to have any bigger pets in our flat, like cats or dogs, as we don't own it.

We're both musical, so we hope our playing (mostly piano and guitar) won't disturb you. Tiina's other hobbies are fencing and reading. Also Jooa likes to read, and he sometimes goes climbing.
