About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Increase the peace!
ABOUT ME
A wandering, curious, openminded citygirl based in Malmö - with the world as my playing field.
Sheesh, I've got some really dull photos here... As soon as I've got more time, I'll put up some cool ones!
PHILOSOPHY
Keep an open mind. See the opportunities, challenge yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm not the most active CS-member, but I support CS fully as a project. I've donated, and am also spreading the word - to nice people :) My home is open to all, and the idea of CS fills my heart with joy and hope of a better world. - It all sounds a bit philosophical! But it's true nevertheless. Unfortunately I had one guest REALLY overstaying his welcome and ending up costing me €150 so I am a bit more cautious and restrictive now, I hope you will understand.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined because my best friend recommended it. Since then I've hosted some nice people from various countries and have also had the opportunity to surf a couch in the US. Will definitely travel and couchsurf again!
Interests
All kinds and nothing specific I guess. Architecture and Japanese culture. House music. Food is nice, and wine, I take a great interest in those. And people. Love meeting new people and learning from them.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite music: Faithless, Leftfield, Massive Attack, Simon & Garfunkel, José Gonzalez, Trente Möller. Old jazz tunes are sweet, and blue grass warms my heart - and hey, I'm up for anything, almost.
Really enjoy reading Douglas Coupland and generally find it a shame that I don't find enough time to read. Social issues magazines are also appreciated.
Films... do they make any good ones anymore? Do they at all define who I am? I don't know. I like all Baz Luhrmann's stuff, but also V for Vendetta, The Fight Club, Dummy, About a Boy and High Fidelity. Does that say anything about me?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing place I've been to is the Grand Canyon, but diving in Zanzibar was awesome too. Once I flew into London on an extremely foggy day, and it was soooo cool to see just the tips of the skyscrapers sticking out of the blanket of clouds and fog below!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm up for sharing anything :) I'm interested in a lot of stuff, and I can probably tell you a little about a lot. Studied cultural studies and sociology and am interested in queer studies and gender studies, so I'm sure we could have some interesting conversations about that. And a million other things!
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Nepal, Thailand
