About Me

I am currently living on a tiny island called Rottnest just of the coast of Perth, enjoying the many many wonders island life has to offer! I wake up every single day grateful for the simplicity of this lifestyle, the beautiful people I live and work around, the incredible beauty of our island home and the many many amazing experiences iv had since graduating school. I love making coffee, sitting and appreciating how beautiful and magical our earth is, being at the beach or around people that make me laugh, going for a big walk, cooking and listening to Vienna by Billy Joel on repeat, and most importantly visiting new places and seeing the world! I did my first big trip to South East Asia last year and I'm currently exploring the absolute beauty of Europe for 2 months and loving every minute of it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see couch surfing as the perfect opportunity to meet people whilst traveling as well as experiencing new countries the way locals do. I really look forward to genuine conversations and interactions, learning about new places, people, traditions and cultures in a really authentic and exciting way!

Music, Movies, and Books

'The Book Thief' and Liesel Meminger will forever hold a very big place in my heart, as will 'The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society' (what a name). The handmaids tale is still too this date one of the most incredible pieces of writing iv ever picked up and it made my brain explode with unanswered questions for two whole months until a conversation with a close friend made me realise the copy I had was missing the editors notes and therefor the ending!!!! A book titled "Opening the Door of Your Heart and Other Buddhist Tales of Happiness" by Ajahn Brah and one called "You Are A Badass" by Jen Sincero both have had a huge impact on my life and who I have become as a person.

My favourite musicians are without question tied first Xavier Rudd and Billy Joel, with Stu Larsen and Ziggy Alberts taking out third and fourth place. I could quite happily listen to their music and no body else for the rest of my life, although I am always open to falling in love with new songs and musicians.
