I am Tijn from Amsterdam. Even though I love my hometown very much, I also like to learn about and travel to new and different places. My major at university is China studies. I am mainly interested in cities, culture, history.

(I usually don't really like clubs so if you are looking for big Amsterdam parties, I might not be the one).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think couchsurfing is great. I have met some very pleasant people through this site. And because I am living in a popular city, I get requests from many very nice people. It does feel sad sometimes I only have time and space to actually host only a few of them.
