Planning for a six months bike trip through Europe in 2014 or 2015

ABOUT ME

It's been three years i gave up my job for 6 months and traveled the Baltics, Southern Africa and the Kaukasus. I've broadened my horizon, learned about other people's life, felt like a citizen of the world. Now i'm preparing for another adventure, wanting to bike my way through Europe for half a year. It would be truly amazing to bike from couch to couch, meet as many people from as many countries possible.

PHILOSOPHY

It's kind of cliche, but life is not about owning stuff but about collecting beautiful memories and experiences: through travelling, meeting new people, spending time with friends and family you learn about life, and hopefully become a better person

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's been a while since i surfed for a couch myself. I hosted some really nice people lately, felt inspired by their stories and travels. I had a sabbatical in 2011, traveling to Africa, Baltics and Kaukasus, being hosted by so many nice people. I hope people are still as hospitable in 2014, as i plan to go into the great wide open again.
