I'm an idealistic, social and mindful man, enthusiastic to meet people from all over the world. I am single and bisexual. I'm a father and my daughter has moved out already.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been one of the first members of Hospitalityclub and Couchsurfing. I've organized several HC- and CS-meetings, like a beach event, a multicultural tour and a hammam meet-up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had lots of guests through couchsurfing and hospitalityclub. I met such nice people in France, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Slovenia, Serbia and many other places. Some of my guests and hosts became unexpectedly friends. Most of my experiences are with being a host myself (after 100 guests I stopped counting). And before I knew about these websites, in East Europe I met so many people who offered me spontaneously a place to stay while I went backpacking on my own. See my profile at HC and Bewelcome: tijs.

Intereses

I like to be active in nature, to go jogging, walking and cycling in the forest. I love doing yoga, swimming, outdoor fitness and enjoy the sauna. I listen to classical, jazz, etnic, and ambient world music. I'm not into the gay scene; I used to go dancing in clubs and beach-bars, but that's an exception now. I love cooking healthy organic, vegetarian food and making pickles. I have my own vegetable garden and chicken. With my caravan or tent I go to naturist campsites.

I like to meet people who know more about shamanism and people from other cultures, backgrounds and different religions.
I'm a professional coach and manager. I can learn you some basic coaching skills if you're interested.
I like to give or exchange massage, I can learn you to give a relaxing massage.
Me and my boyfriend are into healthy, vegan food and we use a lot of wild vegetables. If you like to learn how to pick and use sea weed or wild herbs for cooking, feel free to contact me. I can also learn you how to make pickles with wild fermentation.
