About Me
Hello everyone!
I have recently graduated from Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey, majoring in Labour Economics and Industrial Relations along with Law. Currently I am studying Sociology as a distant learning program. I was born in Adana (it’s in the Mediterranean region of Turkey) and have lived abroad for some time, enough to gather enough information for them among my home town. I love travelling to new places and meeting new people from all around the globe! :) So far I’ve been to 22 countries and am looking forward to see more :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I personally love meeting new people from all around the globe, and learning about their cultures and telling them about mine excites me the most. I think it's beautiful that we can actually talk to people from every country now with the help of internet, cause I believe every culture is unique on its own and it's always amazing to learn about it along with breaking your stereotypes and prejudice. Every human being is worth a chance of getting to know them, and that's why I'm on couchsurfing :)

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite genre of music is definitely classic rock- I love the 60s and 70s. And my all time favourite band is the Beatles. Aside from that, I love Led Zeppelin, the XX, Pink Floyd and the Doors.
For the movies, I really like the Godfather trilogy, I believe it has a really powerful story and messages. I love dystopian books so I can easily say my favourite book is 1984 by George Orwell.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm working as an active participant of our local shelter in my city, and we travelled across Turkey to help stray animals and visited local shelters to see the situation they are in, and we collected help from all over Turkey to help those animals to live in a better state. That week was my favourite of all times.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach to people who I either host or be hosted Turkish and language learning is something I am truly passionate about, so I’d love to learn a couple of useful phrases from your native tongue as well! I can share some of the traditional Turkish recipes and share my experiences through travelling. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can show them some useful phrases from Turkish, some traditional recipes, cook and share experiences with them!
