The last men alive by A. S. Neill, but than again... it's the amount of books which makes the individual just great again.
The same for music: variety and contrast as well as build up on one another makes the most different sounds occure brilliant to me from one moment to another.
And I like movies/serieses, which present real time issues on a fictional story such as The Wire or Lord of War.
