ABOUT ME

I am a very laid back girl from a small town in the US. I moved to the Czech Republic 3 years ago because I wanted to experience Europe in the best way possible, by living there. I'm hopelessly addicted to traveling and after spending two years in the Czech I moved to Spain, and now Germany. My favorite part of traveling is meeting local people who can share with me what their town is all about.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love going out and meeting new people. I have many interesting experiences to share with others including recipes and beer knowledge. I cant offer my couch right now because I am an Au Pair and live with a German family. So if you want to go out for coffee or a beer let me know :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have to say I was a bit skeptical of it at first but still wanted to try it out. A friend of mine and I decided to try it out together and had the best experience ever in Italy! It's my new favorite way to travel :-) There is no better way to get a great local perspective and meet incredibly awesome people while traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading historical fiction novels, especially about places I have visited or plan to vist. Music, I am a country girl at heart but I also love classic rock and anything I can dance too :-) I am not a big movie buff but on a rainy day I'll watch a good comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Other than skydiving, Watching the sunrise at Park Guell in Barcelona, Spain. Simply beautiful, the most peaceful amazing morning ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught ESL in the Czech Republic for two years, spent my savings learning Spanish in Barcelona, and I am currently working as an Au Pair in Germany all because I want to get as much out of life as possible. If you want to practice English, talk about politics, or share different cultural experiences I am up for anything.
