ABOUT ME

I'm a Canadian gap year uni student, who quite possibly adores travelling more than anything else out there. I'm always game for fresh experiences, meeting new people, and basically just enjoying everywhere/anywhere's unique culture. I firmly agree in the philosophy that once a year (or in my case quiet a few times a year) you should travel somewhere you've never been before. You could say I've got a serious case of wanderlust that I can't see changing anytime soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I initially joined the Couchsurf community as a surfer when I was constantly travelling across Canada and the UK, and I can not shout out enough thanks for the people who have let me crash with them while on the road. On the flip side anytime I've had a stationary home long enough to host, I've had an absolute blast n' a half showing surfers the local in's and out's along with a good night out whenever I can!

Interests

Other then obviously travelling, I really enjoy the outdoors. Snowboarding, surfing, hiking, camping, sky diving, rock climbing, cliff jumping you name it I'm in.
Also music has always been a big part of my life. Yeah I play a little, but what I love most is going somewhere new and appreciating their local music scene.
Finally I'd have to say one of the loves of my life is def food. So maybe haggis isn't my all time favourite, but I'm never one to turn down a dish, especially something new.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really do love the socks off music in general from alternative Alt-J all the way to the rock/jazz sound of Zappa, with a lot of Indie, Folk, Electronic and Classics in between. Then live music or festivals goes without saying even if I've never heard the artist before I'm in!
Always been an avid reader, but unfortunately my live out of a backpack lifestyle doesn't always allow me to read on the go but love swapping any kind of literature for a solid read.
