CURRENT MISSION

Music and medical degree at the moment but learning new things and exploring different parts of the world are things we like to do in our spare time.

ABOUT ME

Tim grew up at the outskirts of Edinburgh, while Tash lived near the border of Scotland and England (and did a crazy 30 mile commute early every morning!). We went to the same school and started dating in uni, we have recently moved into the centre and now live in a flat together.
Tim is doing classical music at uni and has already completed a college course in the same subject.
Tash is a 3rd year medical student, studying at Edinburgh university and is loving being out on the wards, it's more interesting and useful talking to patients, than learning countless facts.
We both love travelling and seeing as many places as possible, and getting to know them is something we'd love to do.

PHILOSOPHY

We love to explore, be it places or in the form of learning. We enjoy doing things ourselves and working out things in our mind. We love fixing things ourselves, and learning a new skill on the way.
We love outdoors and landscapes and love old architecture. It's nice to think about all the people who've been in a certain place before you, and the possibility of what is to come.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Love to host but it's not really possible at the moment.
We love to start hosting when we can but also to try surfing and becoming a part of the couchsurfing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, but we have only heard good things.

Interests

Love music, cooking/baking, bikes, walking, travelling, exploring new places, being free, skiing, trying out scuba diving and a little bit of photography (Tim basically owns a camera and he thinks he is the bees-knees for having a Flickr account), Adventure time and cats too :)

Music (in no order):
To name a few we both really like: Bibio, Mountains, A Winged Victory for a Sullen, Bon Iver, Joanna Newsom, William Ackerman and a whole lot more (Tim being a music student always has something to listen to).
Movies:
We love Studio Ghibli and Pixar, Coen Brothers, and recently Panique aux Village (Mon tracteur!)
TV:
We are addicted with Adventure Time, we love The Simpsons, Futurama, Firefly, Kaiba, Flight of the Conchords, and Doctor Who.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many awesome things we have seen and people we have met, like seeing a live volcano in Indonesia at 5 o'clock in the morning, or meeting Chinese students who were practising their English on native speakers for the very first time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Tim's a classical guitarist and is always willing to share his skill.
Tash is an ex ski instructor and if you ever need some pointers she is at your service.
Tim also composes and can give you some pointers if you are into that kind of thing, and he also bakes bread pretty well (or so people say).
