I'm your regular Canadian Joe. Played hockey all my life and still am quite active. I work in Canada as a software developer. In 2015 I got the itch to travel and went on a 9 week europe trip of France, Switz, Germ, Netherlands, Ireland. Connected with university friends, made new friends along the way and stayed with them, and spent some time with family during the trip as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people, have the local experience, and wall away with some local knowledge. Hostels don't give enough of this, I've found. My best experiences have been when I've engaged with locals, which I've been fortunate to have done several times.

Hiked to the top of kliene schiedegg moutain in Switzerland with bike, then biked down the other side.
