I'm an Auxiliar de Conversacion or teaching assistant for the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture in Spain. I help teach English to young students studying to improve their abilities in being bilingual. I'm a former supervisor at a sporting goods store back home and before that I was working for my university. I'm a graduate of The Ohio State University with my degree specializing in World Economy and Business. I'm huge Buckeyes fan too of course. I attended high school back in my hometown of Pickerington where I played football for my final two years. I've always had a thirst for travel and that has led me to where I am today. i enjoy being challenged and want to test myself in different places and get outside of my comfort zone. Generally, I'm laid-back and relaxed. Soft spoken according to many. And a good sense of humor about things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many different genres of music. But my favorites are Hip-Hop/Rap and Jazz. I love old school R&B and I have a soft spot for classic rock. I'll even listen to electronica from time to time. And I can always enjoy some soul and funk as well. I'm huge movie buff and the cinema is home for me. I always watching movies. And I'm constantly trying to watch as many as possible. The Godfather part 2 is my all time favorite. It's a classic! Star Wars is my favorite film franchise and I've loved it since I was a kid. Other favorites of mine include: Rebel without a cause, Back to the Future, The Dark Knight, Apocalypse Now, In the Heat of the Night, Casablanca, Bullitt, The Lion King, Toy Story, The Prince of Egypt, Pan's Labrinyth, Tron, Blade Runner and so many more. The books I read are usually a combination of novels and graphic novels. Some books I enjoyed are Stuffed,Ragged Dick, Hatchet and Letters from a young brother. My favorite graphic novels are The Dark Knight Returns and Watchmen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my time, knowledge and hospitality with hosts. Courtesy is important as well. I can even come "bearing gifts" as a thank you and to show appreciation for those willing to open their homes to me. I have much respect for those allowing others to have a place to stay.
