Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the future I plan to travel a lot, and am currently mapping out a route for my world trip in about 2 years from now. On my previous journeys I've met a lot of people already, which will allow me to stay at a friends house in many places. For the rest of the countries though I would love to meet new people from the area itself who can show me around and are looking to have fun!

Interests

I love to do adventurous stuff like rafting, kayaking, sky-diving, hiking, climbing and for example mountain biking. Currently I do gymnastics, and I've done Judo, Tennis and Basketball before. I prefer walking in a less dense area with friends as opposed to living in the big cities. Currently I am studying Civil Engineering and Communication Science at the University of Twente, after which I would like to travel and possibly leave the Netherlands to move to one of the countries I've been. At this time, my preference lies with New Zealand, since I've already lived there for quite some time and I think it's an amazing country!

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is quite broad, though I prefer acoustic songs with guitar, just to daydream and think of the things I still want to see. Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson for example.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things that I have done is a random two week euro trip, sleeping on the side of the road in our van and meeting people from all kinds of places. Picked up two hitchhikers on the way to accompany us on our trip, went rafting, canyoning and did awesome hikes in the seven countries we visited!
