About Me
Hello, everyone! My name is Ti Bedunah. I also go by Tim-e. I am currently studying abroad in Ifrane, Morocco. I am a senior at West Virginia University. I study French Literatures and Linguistics. I have finished my degree requirements, so I am abroad for a semester gaining my credit req and traveling. WV is a very sheltered place, so I am very happy to be able to see some of the world.
I try to document all my travels for friends and family on my website: trekkingtim.com
Feel free to check out my site or to find me on Facebook. I will be glad to chat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am revamping this site because my friend Jordan and I would like to find a host in Amsterdam. She and I are both in the university in Ifrane.
Interests
As I am sure that you can imagine, I am a reading fanatic. What better major than French Literatures for me, aye? I wrote my undergrad thesis on 18th and 19th-century french authors and why they used Native Americans in their books.
I also love going to the cinema. Although while traveling, I don't usually spend time at the theaters. There is something so magical for me to be completely anonymous in a new city. Just walking around and taking in all the sites. I am a true romantic at heart, aye.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite band has been Florence and the Machine for so long. Her booming, epic voice soothes my soul. Although, I have to say, Adele's new song "Hello" gives me the shivers. I am not the sappy music type, but I absolutely love her music.
My favorite movie..hmm.... also a hard question. I like horror films, but I can never watch them alone. :p I would like to say I am a big scaredy lion--like in the Wizard of Oz.
My favorite books at the classics, Slaughterhouse-Five, The Bell Jar, Beowulf, and anything written by Chateaubriand.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done many amazing things in my life, but one of the coolest has been dog sledding in Quebec. I used to study at Université Laval in Québec City, Canada. I would love to do it again, and have no doubts that I will. If you ever get the chance, don't pass it up!
Teach, Learn, Share
One of my biggest lessons that I have had to come to terms with is forgetting about the idea that "time is money" as we are taught growing up in the states. People here in Morocco like to take their time and enjoy life. I am always the first one at meetings or in class and I usually arrive within the last five minutes. It isn't always easy as it doesn't come naturally, but I am adjusting nicely.
