Hey! I'm Tim, but folks usually call me Gaz (writing "Gaz Gazin" looked a bit funny, so I thought I'd explain here).

I'm a 25 year old American who recently decided to reevaluate his life. I quit my job, packed my things, and got myself a working holiday visa for New Zealand. With my trusty Honda in tow, I completed a eleven month stay in the country, and recently decided to do a wee bit of backpacking before returning home. In the Caucasus now :)

I value humor. I like to try to make people laugh, which is why I am usually irreverent about something or the other. Big on sarcasm too. But I don't intend on being a prick about it, though. I'm an introverted fellow, although contrary to popular belief this doesn't mean I'm going to lock myself in the bathroom and rock back and forth if people try to socialize with me. I love a good chat and a couple of drinks. About as much as I enjoy having a bit of a wander. I always want to see new things.

I've climbed a mountain overlooking Machu Picchu, and was able to see the world at 10,000 ft in the sky (~3000 meters)

I've swum with humpback whales in Tonga, and engaged in a staring contest with a wee little curious calf

I am familiar with the concept of cooking, in the sense that you take stuff and mix it together to make other stuff and you put it in your mouth. I'm rubbish at it, but I can do it a little.
