I’m a Kiwi who grew up in west Auckland and came across Couchsurfing through my housemate here in 2014. As a student at the time, I had no time or money for international travel. The next best thing was discovering and re-discovering New Zealand with internationals and travel-minded locals.

I am back in Auckland after living in Tauranga and Wellington for seven years. I'm enjoying discovering everything that's changed in Auckland while I was away. There are always new and unexplored areas of the region to discover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to discover and re-discover places around New Zealand with new friends - the next best thing to travelling overseas.

Interests

I try to travel overseas once or twice a year, as well as explore parts of New Zealand that I haven't been to yet.

My favourite sports are cricket, rugby, football, basketball, athletics and sailing, especially international sport, world tournaments and the Olympic Games. I cycle around the city, especially to the gym where I enjoy group fitness classes.

A favourite weeknight activity is pub quiz... I love to combine knowledge to figure things out with friends over drinks on a weeknight, and maybe even win prize money for more drinks :) Perhaps we can try quiz when you stay!
