Overview
About Me
I'm Tim! Architecture student from Scotland, currently running away from an inevitable office job with a working holiday in Aus!
I'm a friendly, very open and honest person, always desperate for new experiences so generally up for anything
I'm really enjoy photography, travel and meeting new people with new stories to tell
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't want to couchsurf to save money, I want to couchsurf to see a city from a local's perspective, not a tourist's, and to listen to other people's stories
I want to meet new people, travel the world and experience new things! Not very original I'm sure, but if I'm 80 years old, homeless and broke, I'll be happy so long as I have some stories to tell
Interests
Love music, tried learning various instruments when I was younger but never managed to stick at it, recently gave guitar another bash over the last year so miiight just about play a recognisable tune for you. Absolutely love music festivals, such a great experience
I like cooking as well, when I have time
Very much love film and will talk your ear off about it if you're interested!
I enjoy photography, a lot, never taken a class but hey, learn by doing
And like every lad and his nan on here I'm crazy about traveling, and trying to squeeze the most out of my time in this country.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pink Floyd, powerful stuff
Got quite a wide range of music tastes, like a little bit of everything really (sprry for the classic basic bitch answer). Love the Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gorillaz, David Bowie, Beatles of course, Jack Johnson...
And on the other end of the spectrum I'm also a big fan of electronic, house music and the like. Would be my dream to see Daft Punk live. Went to Creamfields music festival in Manchester, Rockness at Loch Ness, Let Them Eat Cake, Kelburn Garden party west of Glasgow, DGTL, Diynamic and The Flying Dutch in Amsterdam.
Could talk for days about movies, favourite is The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones are my favourite trilogies, got a soft spot for 500 Days of Summer, could go on and on
Favourite book so far is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, currently reading 1000 Days of Summer (some hitchhikers travel journal basically, nothing to do with 500 days...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to Amsterdam to study Architecture for 6 months and then hitch hiked and couchsurfed my way around Belgium and back home to Edinburgh all the way from Amsterdam. Definitely one of the more interesting things I've done I reckon!
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you think you can out drink a Scot I can bring some alcohol with me, otherwise maybe I can cook you a good meal
Or I could maybe share with you some stories that I've deemed too inappropriate for my profile...
