Overview
About Me
I am a chatty, fun British chap who is always keen to experience new things. I love meeting new people from all over the world and seeing how other people live.
The last couple of years of my life have been spent in South East Asia, Australasia and the Indian Subcontinent, travelling around and meeting the best that humanity has to offer.
One thing I absolutely love is having a large community around me and so I'm working to build one here in Wellington!
If you are interested in living in an amazing sharing atmosphere where new acquaintances are friends and friends are family then shoot me a message and I'd love to meet you :)
PHILOSOPHY
Give more, take less.
Strive to see the light in those around you.
There's not enough time in life for dull moments.
The master has failed more times than the apprentice has tried.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a community filled with accomodating people whose curiosity has lead to them pushing their boundaries in order to discover more about the world. What's not to like?
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
During my year in Melbourne I lived in a house with between 25-35 people. The majority of the people there arrived through couchsurfing, with some people staying for months and others staying for just a day or two. It was a great year living with people from all over the world!
Interests
Community Living and Sustainability.
How can we make sure that everybody has a fun and fulfilling life without leaving it barren for those that come after us?
I love games of all descriptions whether it's sports, board games or general silliness with friends. Life is a game, play it!
Just getting into photography and photo editing and having a lot of fun messing around with various features. Want to get into filming soon!
I always love discovering new music so love it when people share their tastes with me.
I enjoy reading both to learn new things and just for fun. I'm the kind of person who has 6 books on the go at once and it's doubtful that I'll ever get round to finishing half of them!
I love cooking and sharing meals with friends. Never cook for 1, eating is not a solitary activity.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, my taste is pretty diverse and I am always searching for more. Hip-hop, house, drum 'n' bass, psytrance, trip-hop, rock, funk, jungle.... the list goes on.
I'm always up for a good movie but finding a favourite is difficult because in my view it is always good to experience new things. Something that makes me think or something that makes me laugh is always good. Recently I have enjoyed L'Auberge Espagnole (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0283900/), Waking Life (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0243017/) and The Castle (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118826/).
I absolutely love reading, but it can be difficult to find the time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A couple of years ago my friend and I hitchhiked from Bristol, UK to Grenoble, France in 36 hours. We wore Mario and Luigi outfits and spent absolutely no money on the journey there.
