I am beginning to travel more for comedy performances and BJJ competition. Both of those activities tend to isolate me into those areas during travel. I'd like couchsurfing to give me a broader experience while in different cities.

I like to watch a lot of standup and occasionally a comedy series. I enjoy movies and TV, but I don't spend a lot of free time on them.

I do a fair amount, but I hesitate to call any of it amazing. Maybe that is low self esteem talking, but the best is probably yet to come.

midwestdigest.ninja is the link for my, and my friends', podcast. I have benefited intellectually, emotionally, and socially from many conversations we've recorded. Podcasting is a great excuse to sit down and focus on someone else for an hour or two.

-I will play chess.
-I can teach basic principles of self defense, through grappling. (In an abridged, lighthearted manner. Really, just if you are curious. Doing technique a few times in your living room is unlikely to save your life if you don't consistently practice. But it is interesting to try/discuss, and it's fun!)
-Basic chores
-Open minded conversation. I am one of those dumb smart guys. Or smart dumb guys. I dunno. But I can talk a little about a lot of things.
