Hey there!

My name is Tim and I'm living in the beautiful university city of Würzburg in Southern Germany. Originally I'm from a small town close to Frankfurt in the center of Germany. I'm in Med School and therefore quite busy sometimes, but any free minute I'm ready to hang out! :)) From my first days on, I was sitting in the backpack of my dad, climbing mountains and getting to know different countries. That's why I had no choice but to fall in love with travelling the world.

Maybe I few words about me as a person: I would describe myself as an open-minded and empathetic young man. I like being surrounded by warm-hearted people and I would say that I know how to enjoy life most of the time :-) I love people that I can laugh and have fun with and I'm always curious to learn new things (cooking, instruments etc.).
Maybe one last thing: I LOVE making music with friends, playing the piano and relaxing somewhere in the nature and playing my ukulele!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Before I start to attend university I therefore plan to travel around South East Asia, starting my trip with a four-days-stopover in Singapore and then discovering Indonesia for 6 months. It has always been my dream to come to South East Asia and get in touch with people from different cultures, making friends and learning new things.

So Indonesia be ready, I'm coming :-)

Algo increíble que he hecho

One of my best travel experiences was a backpacking trip to Czech Republic with my friends. One evening we were wandering around a small Czech village, asking around and searching for a cheap (or even better a free) place to sleep. After almost two hours of talking to locals, we found two warm-hearted men, one of them old, the other younger, who said they had a place for us to stay a few nights. We doubtfully got into their car and we drove for almost 30 minutes, until we reached an even smaller village. The car stopped at an 600 years old monastery that almost looked like a small castle. The older man appeared to be the owner of it, opended the doors and said we could choose whatever bedroom we want and stay for the next nights. Then he even invited us for dinner and when we left after two nights he had a small present for everyone of us!

Never experienced such selflessness before..!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I really like to cook and bake cakes and could teach you a few (basic :D) german dishes! Also, as I mentioned before, I am ready to share my love for music and playing instruments with you. But most importantly, I hope I can give you a fun and interesting time while "surfing your couch" (not sure if this is the correct expression..:p)!
