SUP!! I'm the Founder of SUP (ScrewUpoles), Ive had a fast-paced and some might say lucky life. Born and raised in the South Island of New Zealand, I've always wanted to travel and ski/snowboard in as many countries as possible. I started my skiing/snowboarding life with friends and family in the small club fields surrounding South Canterbury New Zealand, but since those humble days I ridden in France, Italy, Austria, Australia and Canada as well as spending a year touring South East Asia.

I'm a qualified Teacher from the University of Otago and after spending a few years travelling around the world I became a Teacher in both Australia and England. However I've always been a free spirit and wanted to combined my teaching experience and love of sliding to become a Ski Instructor.

Im very outgoing and I love to meet smart people educated or self educated it doesn't bother me we all have something to offer this world from our own prospective. Very interested in other cultures and obviously I love food- I'm always hungry and will try everything at least twice to make sure its good or not so good.

Sport is a big part of what gives me my drive after a bit of success in my earlier days as a young man I've used that competitive streak and team working skills to make meaningful friends and experiences around the world.

I love Art and self expression as everyone has their own way of expressing themselves its important to me to appreciate others and their environment. Respect!!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Classic really, to make friends and get a shower now and then haha.

In all honestly my mate put me on to couch surfing saying how awesome it was to met the right people and by pass the majority of fakers out there. I like real and honest people that know how to have a blast!

Meeting people in their own environments and gaining quality experiences a long the way is about the balls of it really.

I like all music as long as it sounds good :) but if i had to choose I'd go with rock!

Haven't got a favourite film but I like a good adventure film and cartoons are cool too. Not into scary films but thats not because I'm scared of them !

Books- Game of thrones (favourite for sure) but love all fiction books
