My name is Tim, and I am 24 years old. After finishing my Bachelor degree in university I decided to travel around the world for 5 months. For me its very exciting to meet people from different countries, spend some days with them and have nice conversations. Thats the reason, why I use couchsurfing and try to hitchike a lot :).
Some information about me and my personality: I really like travelling and I am always down for an adventure. I am an open person who is always up for a chat. I really like cooking and my friends say, that I am a good chef. My hobbies are, hiking, climbing, boxing, reading, scouting and exploring the nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me Couchsurfing is an interesting way, to find some places to sleep. But I think Couchsurfing is still more. It is the possibility, to meet interesting people from different countries, and share your stories and adventures you make with others. With couchsurfing you also have the possibility to find new friends, and get a feeling how the people live in different countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2019 I travelled to Nepal. I spend 3 weeks in the Himalayan region. Over there, the mountains and the trek was very impressive.
Another nice experience, was hitchhiking in Kasachstan, this was also an interesting adventure. The people over there are so helpfull and I met a lot of nice people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I dont have that much I can share with my host. I can share some stories from my journeys and I nice bottle of wine :)
