About Me
Hi, I'm Tim! I'm half Singaporean (ethnically Sri-Lankan Tamil) and half English, and was born and brought up in Singapore.
Warning: extremely spontaneous! :P
When I was 9, I went to boarding school in England, before coming back and joining the International Schools system.
After graduating, I did two years of Military Service, serving as a Sergeant in the Singapore Police Coast Guard, before heading back to England for University.
I'm currently in my final year, studying International Relations and Media, Communications & Culture as a Dual Honours Bachelors program at Keele University, which I love!
Regarding the bio below, I don't actually expect anyone to read it all, it's just there because I don't know what to cut out! Haha just feel free to skim it all.

I absolutely adore travelling! I am also always looking to discover new things and learn more about the amazing planet we live on. One of my favourite things in life is meeting new people because you meet such wonderful personalities and make the most unexpected friends!

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Having grown up surrounded my music in my family, I grew to love all different kinds, from Rock, to House, to Hip-Hop & Rap, and Classical too.
My old favourites though are Classic Rock and the 1970's and 80's Heavy Metal (so not screamo stuff), such as Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Queen & Pink Floyd
MOVIES: The Lord of the Rings- Extended Edition. Nothing else comes close.
Also, Star Wars, anything Monty Python, the Bond films (especially OHMSS & FRwL), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Pulp Fiction, Rush, Star Trek, Superhero films, etc. I've been discovering a whole lot of wonderful old films too recently.
Documentaries, especially travel ones, or anything Attenborough.
As for TV, too many to list, but favs include: Sherlock, Top Gear, and Game of Thrones.
BOOKS: Anything by Tolkien, no question. Shakespeare too, who is a comic genius. Fascinated by Norse, Germanic, Greek, Roman, and British Mythology. Other authors I love include Conan Doyle, George RR Martin, Jane Austen, CS Lewis, Ian Fleming, Bill Bryson & JK Rowling. Grew up on Herge and Roald Dahl.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spontaneously signing up for a Ski Trip despite having only 6 hours of skiing (dry slope and indoors) under my belt, and having severe acrophobia/fear of falling.
After 5 days of skiing, I was doing red slopes, and going up on cable cars, gondolas and even chair lifts (:
Teach, Learn, Share
What am I meant to put here?
I mean, I'm willing to share the assortment of random abilities and skills that I have acquired throughout my life I suppose!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Many many stories and also a bucketload of random, irrelevant facts about the world. I'm also happy to help with cooking, and I can play music for them. (:
