Hi everyone,

My name is Tim, I am 31 years old and I am probably the tallest guy you will ever host or beeing hosted by😁.

I just recently finished my PhD studies and am currently working as a Postdoc at DTU in Copenhagen. I am originally from Germany but have been living in Finland and Norway as well.

My stays abroad also made my join couchsurfing to be able to continously meet people from all over the world. Getting to know people from a diverse cultural background definately enriched my life and made me the person I am today. While travelling I had the pleasure to be hosted by many amazing couchsurfers, sadly due to the Covid pandamic my travelling activities have been limited the past years. I also spent most of my holidays in the past years on hiking trips which is why I have not been using couchsurfing during my travels in the past years that much.

I would cosider myself as laid back and easy to get along with. I am highly passionate about nature and environmental issues. I spend a lot of times outdoors and love hiking, camping and packrafting. So I am always up for an outdoor adventure. However, you will also have a great time with me enjoying the night life, exploring the city and talk about all kind of aspects of life. I love to go to folkekøkken in Copenhagen and you can also find me volunteering to fight foodwaste (checkout Madboks in Copenhagen) or dumpsterdiving.
