About Me
The learning languages listed I am VERY limited in. Not conversational at all. Just a few basic words and phrases and counting.
I am a single father of 2 and freelance pohotographer. Oldest son is out on his own. Youngest daughter lives with me full time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Once my youngest child has graduated and left home, my plan is to work my way around the world with my cameras and a blog. I heard about Couchsurfing through a friend and I want to see if this is a viable option for at least some of my travels.
Interests
Constantly expanding my experiences. A great interest in exploring people, cultures, traditions, history, foods, architecture, creativity, wildlife...the world. I'm a sponge!

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh, I'm so bad at the favorites thing. It all really depends on mood, environment and reasons for experienceing these things.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Raised two wonderful human beings. I traveled the Northeast as a child with my parents which included a lot of camping and outdoor activities. I was in the Army for a few years which brought me to other areas of the country and the world. I've traveled domestically for work and pleasure. My current profession/passion has allowed me to experience and be a part of things I never imagined and don't think would be possible any other way. As a pohotographer I've gotten to sit in the dirt on the track at Churchill Downs as Kentucky Derby winners thunder by, meet and photograph celebrities and cultural icons, attend President Obama's first inaugural ball and watch the Temptations sing "Happy Birthday" to Muhammad Ali. I've met presidents, governors, ambassadors and military leaders, business and music legends and artistic geniuses. LOL! I just took a breath and looked at the title on the box. It says, "ONE." I've lived.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to absorb and share everything possible. What I can teach or share depends greatly on the other individuals. I love imparting any kind of knowledge and?or experiences I possibly can. I've been told I'm quite insightful and intelligent and have a lot to share, but I just see me as me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Myself. My excitement, my passion, my curiosity, my enthusiasm, my experience.
