About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to finish my road trip on route 66

ABOUT ME

I am a 34 year old professional who loves adventure. I have worked in sales and technology for web development companies the last 5 1/2 years. I am a social person by nature, love traveling, meeting new people and having new experiences.

My college background is in Counseling Psychology and Therapuetic techniques. I got my degree from St. Cloud State in St. Cloud Minneapolis and took summer classses at University of California, Santa Cruz (go banana slugs!) as well as other trainings internationally.

I spent over 15 years in restaurants working in various capacities. My last restaurant job was wqaiting tables at a nice itialian restaurant where I worked part time for the last 10 years.

I spend my free time outside work biking (road), rollerblading and meeting up with friends. Most summer weeks when I am at home I average between 80 and 120+ miles between my bike and rollerblades.

In summer of 2007 I completed a 28 day outdoor desert survival course in Southern Utah. It was the hardest and most rewarding thing I have ever done. I plan on climibing Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2010.

People describe me as personable, friendly, and easy to get along with. I'm a great conversationalist and have a flexible, unassuming personality.

PHILOSOPHY

life is short play hard.

if its not fun go home... and some times you have to work to make it fun.

Its all about people and friends. Possessions are temporary.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Joseph Campbell and have read all sorts of books. Kurt Vonnegut is also a personal favorite. Sirens of Titan is my favorite Vonnegut book.

I love punk music, European pop, electronic music of all shapes and sizes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The finish line at the end of the 90 mile LIVESTRONG Challenge in Austin Texas on October 25th, 2009. It's an amazing feeling to have raised over $1200 in 5 days and to have bicycled 90 miles.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about therapy and communication. I can teach you about Italian wines and cooking Italian food.
