COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to CS so haven't really participated yet, looking forward to my first surf at the end of September in Auckland!

Interests

I love Formula racing and closely follow Red Bull Racing Team. I am a keen cyclist and walker and love taking in beautiful scenery in either of these pursuits. Travelling in a massive part of my life as I have very itchy feet and am always planning my next trip, when I'm travelling I love to see how the people in the countries really live - volunteering with local communities. This is why I am also interested in the couch surfing concept.

Here is a list of my other loves: live music, beer, wine, silence of the lambs, tarantino, wes anderson, 50's rock and roll, motown, hip hop (west coast if i had to choose) and drunken conversations - especially if they get emotional.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Almost everything. Specifically: Frankie Lymon, Eminem, Elton John, Michael Jackson, The Kinks, Queen, The Smiths, Diana Ross and many many more.

Books: Autobiographies, Crime/Thriller, Political History and of course Harry Potter. (The audio books got me through some bad times!)

Movies: Silence of the Lambs is the best movie ever made, full stop. Anything Tarantino or Wes Anderson, oh and i do love a twist!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the past few months I have been travelling, taking a post university gap year if you like. During these travels i have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to sky dive over the Namib Desert, jump the largest bungee in the world, dive with great white sharks, learn to scuba and get close to so many exotic and wild animals that it has surpassed any dreams i may have had. I want to continue these adventure in the USA but want to meet some genuine Americans along the way as every American I have met along these travels have been some of the kindest most generous people I have ever encountered.
