ABOUT ME

I like to live life loud at times, and equally enjoy quiet moments to myself. I am very outgoing and sociable, love all kind of sports and my family and friends mean everything to me.
I LOVE food and happily assist in the kitchen, although my own cooking skills are not too famous. I also play some guitar and sing along once in a while.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed myself quite a bit here in Canada, hosting people only once in a while since I was living in a residence on campus. I am looking forward to welcoming more people to my home in Germany.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I was in NZ for a year and have done a lot of WWOOFing, I somehow never got into couchsurfing but my first CS experiences in Canada have been extraordinary awesome, and I am looking forward to trying it out a bit more. Without CS my hitch hiking trip across Canada would have been only half as much fun!

Interests

In my life it is about friends & family, sports (running, downhill skiing, beach volleyball...), the outdoors (climbing, biking, hiking, canoeing...) and about positiveness. I came across a Canadian song, which fits pretty well: "We are here for a good time, not a long time." (The Troopers) I try to make the best out of what is given to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My work and travel adventure in NZ in 2009/10 was probably the most exciting time of my life so far. Beautiful landscapes, amazing people, mind-blowing mountain ranges, life-inspiring WWOOFing experiences and spectacular hiking trips. The bungee jump and the sky dive certainly pumped my body full of adrenaline, which left me completely freaked out haha.
Every skiing season I work as an instructor in the German Black Forest and being out there in midst of the white snow and happy skiers keeps giving me an astonishingly satisfying feeling.
