I am an outdoors persons that lives to travel. I have been living out of my car and couch surfing at friends houses for the past two years now. I am adventurous and want to see the world. I enjoy walking, tea and learning about other cultures and anything physical outside whether canoeing, skiing, white water kayaking or star gazing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live to travel and I am also very frugal. I prefer to stay with locals because I usually don't stay places long and it can give me a better feel for the culture. I look forward to meeting people of other cultures and backgrounds and to one day host others when I finally settle down.

Interests

I love outdoor adventures and prefer to be in the wilderness whenever possible. My goal is to one day become an explorer and I like to learn new technical outdoor skills whenever possible but also love learning in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am into folk music and prefer to stomp my feet and dance along to friends playing music. I don't have strong movie preferences I don't like horror or slasher films. I am currently into reading expedition books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kayaked my first class 5 white water rapid entirely upside down. I don't recommend this.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help with English, juggling, Magic the gathering and I was a certified sea kayak instructor for some time. For work I teach wilderness travel and have taught many a friend how to go winter camping. I love learning new outdoor skills and about culture. I enjoy sharing experiences with people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cook, I clean and will happily join in to whatever the adventure of the moment is big or small. I often provide moral support and companionship on many small adventures that most would choose not to join in on.
