ABOUT ME

The plan is to see the world and see what kinds of life experiences it will throw at me. How else will i find out who i am in the world? :)
Currently in Canada on a 2 yr working-holiday visa where i plan to work enough to travel around canada and to the rest of the world.
I love to learn about other peoples cultures and see how people live in different parts of the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live in the moment, realize that it is a special time and don't waste it.. There are no ordinary moments! :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started in the CS project, but as i can see from reading about peoples experiences on here, i am very excited about being a part of this world of people that share life experiences and enjoy the things life has to offer

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I unofficially couch surfed all over Brazil for 3 months.. All of the places were either people i already knew or friends of friends. The experience was AWESOME! got to know some really cool people in that time and see some amazing things!

Music, Movies, and Books

My tastes are very eclectic and i am extremely passionate about music. Seeing music performed live is definately one of lifes best highs for me. I love jamming, i play a number of instruments (very basically, some alot better then others!) but i love brazilian drumming and percussion.. music you can feel! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up 'Mt. Corcovado' (with the famous jesus christ statue) in RIO with a group of 30 capoeiristas, kids and adults, from the slums to play capoeira on the top, and afterwards played capoeira on a nearby heli-pad with the amazing 360 degree view of Rio, topped off with an awesome sunset.

Im a great cook! always looking out for new ideas for creation in the kitchen, and love sharing what i know!
I would like to learn more languages! I am more or less fluent in portuguese through all of my contact with brazil and capoeira but its only going to get better with practice :)
