About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore and learn in an attempt at finding something I really want to commit my life to

ABOUT ME

I'd like to think I'm relaxed and easily adapt to most situations. friendly and happy, absolutely love exploring cities and especially wilderness areas. Bushwalking and camping are majors hobbies of mine. Enjoy cooking and hanging out at home as well as heading out to any of the excellent bars or clubs in Melbourne.
Getting into longboarding, a great way to get around city streets.

PHILOSOPHY

so much is out there in the world, i can't imagine ever stopping learning or having a concrete philosophy, at this stage keep making the most of every opportunity and see what happens

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed on couches through the United States, in Iceland and in Europe, I really believe it is an optimal way to travel and so much more genuine than staying in a hostel/hotel, to hang out with a local can be a million times better than going on a tour.

I have had plenty of people from all over the world crashing on my couch and look forward to having many more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my favourite couch surfing experiences was in Iceland where I stayed with an incredibly interesting guy called Egill, another couch surfer and myself hung out, cooked whale steaks, went to the local community thermal baths and enjoyed Icelandic beer.

Interests

hanging out, hiking, swimming, reading, longboarding, learning, travelling, drinking wine, talking philosophically when i probably have no idea what i'm talking about, hearing other peoples stories

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The last moment that really blew me away was whilst skiing in the French Alps. Waking up to find the sun shining down on 20cm of fresh snow and stunning views across to Mont Blanc, heart pumping with joy, carving fresh tracks down the slopes with wonderful friends.

Another incredible moment would have to be finding a manta ray gliding under me whilst swimming off the Victorian coast during a 5 day hiking trip.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sweden, Timor-Leste (East Timor), Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam
