We are a vibrant, easy to get on with, hard working and love living life to the full. We are also parents to 4 precious young children. They capture every couch surfers heart. Our mission is to give you a feel of South African lifestyle, create a friendship and even hopefully a forever travel memory ♡

ABOUT US

Hi all CS'S.

Our names are Tim,Margie and Lilly, Willow, Olivia and Zachary Rogers.

We live in South Africa-Hilton in the beautiful province of Kwa-Zulu Natal.

We love to travel, meet people, make friends. We are fun, accommodating, easy to get along with and very good at making you feel at home :)

Margie:

I have my BEd in Foundation Phase Degree and currently run my own Play School from home which I started.in 2011. I have always been passionate about children. I love art, music,movies, socializing,trying new things, traveling (and hope to do so more) ummm hmmm what else? Being spontaneous, the outdoors, camping, watching the stars and bonfires...I love life and people and making moments!

Tim: I have my B-Com in Marketing management and economics degree and CFP. I work for a company called GCI and run it from my own office in Hilton. I Love seeing new places and meeting new people. Really enjoy new foods and do most of the cooking at home, like having intellectual talks...I love experiencing life. Have a great wife that has said just about everything we like to do...

We have met and made great friends to plenty awesome travelers that have either surfed a "couch" at our home or through our friend Andrew who is also a couch surfer :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some things we can think of off hand:

1)We've swum with a whale shark :)
2)Slept under the beautiful open sky of Lesotho on a freezing cold night.
3)Traveled through Zambia and Zimbabwe and met and mingled with the people.
4)Experinced a white Christmas in the UK.
5)Played on a pebble beach
6)Went Dune riding and dined under the skies in Dubai
7)Became parents!
