About Me

I'm freaky. At least that's how other people often describe me. I love Arts, especially photography and film. Also I'm really into traveling and experiencing the world. I love to discover other lifestyles, cultures, typical meals and personal philosophies.
Oh yeah, since I've been in asia I'm became somewhat food obsessed. I always was a foodie, but SEA was just blowing my mind, every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel myself and I think there is no better way of getting to know a city, or a place, than stay with people living there, or having travelers stay with you to introduce them to your area.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Illegally entering Albania by accident.
-Hiking and camping along the Baikal
-Surviving a sandstorm in the Gobi
-Surviving the Chinese buses I used to criss-cross the edge of the Tibetan plateau. (no windows open, everyone smoking, 15 people vomiting, ice inside the windows, guy taking a leak in the aisle, 7 exploded tyres, mudslides, ice on the 5500m pass and therefore walking... awesome! )
-meeting and getting invited by all those people along the way!
-riding the HCM-Highway all the way.
- smoking of clutch plates in the jungle, breaking the chain and getting me and my bike outta there on a pickup and on the back of a Honda Wave from locals after failing to enter Vietnam over an unmarked border, buying parts from border guards, sleeping in their Hut on the border, oh yeah, and it was raining all the time making the dirtroads even "more fun"
- overeating 10 days in a row as Bangkok's Chinatown just got me
- over 100000 km through SEA on a bike most people thought wouldn't make 100 km
