ABOUT ME

This profile is for both my wife (she is the language expert, not me) and myself. We just got back from spending a year traveling Asia, Europe, Africa and Oceania. We mostly stayed with friends or in hostels but did spend some time on couches in Japan and had a great time. We both work in IT, we like having big dinners at home with friends, reading the Sunday NY Times and opening too many bottles of wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have lived in Seattle for years and our place is right downtown. We can show you around, give you pointers on what to visit and explain why we love Seattle. If you like to hike or snowboard, there might be a chance to do that too. We keep a pretty busy social calendar but we love to include new people in it. Because we are fairly busy, we can only sometimes host and we're interested mostly in international visitors. So let us know your gameplan and when you will be here and we'll get back to you on if we're available. Thanks

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We just got back from spending a year traveling Asia, Europe, Africa and Oceania. We mostly stayed with friends or in hostels but did spend some time on couches in Japan and had a great time. Before that, we opened our couch in NY for a couple surfers that was also fun. We are now in Seattle, working 9-5 and want to help other surfers out as well as hang out with them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? Traveled the world for a year (Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania). Climbed Mt. Rainier. Boarded Mt. St Helens in a dress. Honeymooning in Sri Lanka, Singapore and Japan. Back-country hiking and snowboarding in B.C.
