About Me

CURRENT MISSION
I’m on a trip going from Denmark and hopefully reaching Athens. I have some time off and saw a drawing of the Acropolis there recently. So I thought I’d give it a go.

ABOUT ME

Jovial, laid-back kind of guy with a tendency for improvised traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

I'll try anything - if I like it I'll do it again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've only surfed, but hope to get a place some day where I can host people as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Love this thing for the odd experiences you get and you just don't get in contact with the local culture in any way the same degree when hostelling.

Interests

I study journalism, so I follow the news quite a lot. Mostly the international parts. My hobby project at the moment is making a sculpture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: From Bossa Nova to modern electronia, with a special love for anything that has an edge.
To mention a few of my favorites; Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Haim, Rhye, A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, Jorge Ben Jor, Burial, The Beatles, Queen and for dancing I love me some oldschool soul!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I remember one time I was on a ferry in Mombasa in Kenya. The main city is on an island. It was raining and the ferry was stock full of people holding umbrellas. They have these street preachers in Kenya and this day there were one on the ferry dressed in a heavily worn suit. He climbed a staircase on the side of the ferry and adressed the crowd; joked around, spoke of local politics and seeing as I stood out as the only white man, he also joked around with me, ending the sermon by saying "and now I will go down, so the white man can give me a dollar!", causing wild laughter all over - an absolutely brilliant travel moment.
