ABOUT ME

Hey there! How ya goin?
I am a young, laidback Aussie bloke who takes everything as it comes and never takes anything too seriously!
I have recently finished uni and am now working fulltime in the mines and love it! It gives me the time and the money to do what I want and will definitely expand my travelling horizons in the not too distant future!
I have been lucky throughout my life so far to have been given the opportunity to experience numerous countries and cultures..so far I've visited Brazil, Europe (France, UK, Scotland), Thailand x2, New Zealand x2, Vietnam, Singapore and also a cruise to New Caledonia and Vanuatu..so its fair to say that I am hooked!
The sense of exploring the unknown, meeting new people and having the time of my life is such an addiction that I absolutely love.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to achieve the most out of it..I believe in the saying you only get out what you put in which strives me to give it my everything and hopefully reap the rewards!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe that Couch Surfing is an awesome and convenient opportunity to meet new people and provide them with fee accommodation and local knowledge, which also works vice versa.
Also, given time and financial constraints, overseas travel isnt always possibly, therefore why not have overseas people come into my own home?
Pretty awesome idea I say!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Was referred to Couch Surfing by a couple German blokes I met in Brazil, have met and hosted some amazing and interesting people so far and would love to continue this trend!

Interests

I have played Aussie Rules Football (AFL) for about 12
years and LOVE it, best sport in world haha
I love the outdoors and the sea, like camping, swimming, fishing, diving, skurfing and just getting outside in the sun and fresh air (I work underground too so I try and get as much sun as possible when I can haha)
Also I LOVE travelling, I am addicted to it!! :P

I love listening to old school music, favourites include Metallica, Guns n Roses, Powderfinger, Pearl Jam etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I experienced the craziness of Carnaval in Recife, Brazil in 2010, definitely one of the highlights of my life and something that I would love to relive one day soon!

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that I can show people how to have a good time, whether it be having a couple quiet beers and partying hard in town. I take a laidback approach to life and hopefully this can rub off on you too! :)
