About Me

I am 27 years and almost finished my master in psychology. I have been living in the Netherlands for the past 3 years. Afterwards, I spend the last 3 years all over the globe.

In general I would describe myself as extroverted.

I really like to listen to peoples stories, their way of seeing reality. There is nothing better than a good conversation. It's always interesting to see how much we all share at the same time how we differ.
Furthermore, I love to hike and be outdoors.
Also,I play the guitar, like to jam, meditation and sports!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel alone and to meet people. It is really nice to see the world from the perspective of a different life, which works best when you sit on the same couch as the person, who's perspective you are trying to take.

Interests

While exploring the Asian continent we would like to learn as much as we can. Buddhism is definitely a subject but we are open for everything else. Just today we learned how to open a pomelo the right way. Yoga, cooking, a few words in a language, the history of something, you name it!
In general, it is never wrong to explore something new.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music there is the proverb:
If you don't like a style of music, you didn't listen to it enough.

That is, it does not matter how the music is categorized, when it connects it connects.

In short: every kind of music.

I was into rock when I was younger, even some metal, but at some point I couldn't take the screaming and distortion anymore.
Since then, my tastes started to become really diffused.

For a really long time I loved Fingerstyle guitarists. No lyrics, just the instruments. Afterwards, I slowly ventured into blues, jazz, hip hop and even back to more classical psychedelic or progressive Rock.

At the moment I try not learn gypsy jazz, which has a specific charm.
