About Me

CURRENT MISSION

working to live life

ABOUT ME

I moved out when I was 16 and have been around ever since. There isn't a place I now consider home as I have lived in different places and been travelling quite a bit.
Seeing places and meeting people I realized that this is what I want to be doing for as long as possible, now that I am still young and flexible. Thank Goodness my wife agrees, so we try to travel as much as time and wallet allow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I wish to help others find a couch to crash on when visiting Miami.
At the same time I am hoping to meet people, make friends and be offered their couch in return!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few surfer at my place in Frankfurt, then travelled the US with a friend where we managed to surf ourselves. Started hosting more seriously when back to Mannheim, but demand obviously wasn't as intense. Now living in Miami, which should be the exact opposite again...
Met some incredibly cool people and am fully convinced that I can now give back at my new place in Mannheim

Interests

I guess sports, partying and enjoying the weather out here way too much

Music, Movies, and Books

Generally I like most books (of course I choose them carefully first) and thus have no clear favorite.

Movies is a similar issue, there is no long-time favorite I have; they keep being replaced by new movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

visit the Salar de Uyuni and Lago Titicaca in Bolivia, the Temples of Angkor and the Killing Fields in Cambodia, crossing the Thai-Khmer boarder by foot, the Cuchi-Tunnels in Vietnam, the Grand Canyon, helicopter-tour over Manhattan and walking the SkyWalk in Macau!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am rather fluent in English and Spanish, something I am able and willing to share.
And then of course there is the occasional German word that escapes my mouth...

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Cambodia, China, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Bolivia, Germany, Singapore, Spain, United States
