ABOUT ME
I love life. Life has so much to offer. I enjoy meeting new people, and getting to know and understand different cultures, and beliefs. I honestly believe in doing what is best for your own life, and for me that means living in multiple places, making connections with more real people, and inspiring others to live their lives to the fullest. In the end I will die happily knowing that I inspired others to follow their dreams and forget about conforming to the "norm" we have created in our society. In five years involved directly in saving lives and watching people die, I have learned one thing.... never waste a day you are alive. Live in the moment, where true happiness resides.

You Are West
Like an American, you are an innovative, free-spirit. You tend to do your own thing, especially if no one has done it before.
People admire that you are creative and a visionary. You come up with all sorts of ideas, and you're never afraid of failure.
Sometimes you come across as wild to the point of being careless. You are a rule-breaker who borders on dangerous.
You make a great artist. No matter what you do in life, it's your personal expression of who you are.
Are You North, South, East, or West?

PHILOSOPHY
Live life as if you may die tomorrow, and what you do today can only be described as truly living!!
In our consumerism type society, we sometimes forget about the simplest things in life.... its the simple things that are there for you no matter where you go, or what you do... You gotta appreciate that!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have had some wild times with some couch surfers in IL, and look forward to more great times in the future with more fellow CS'ers. I, sadly, missed out on Tent Surf 2010, however will plan ahead for next years activities! I have met up with several CSer's here in Phoenix. I do prefer that when a person requests to stay on my couch, that they have actually looked at my profile, and decided that they would not only be staying on my couch, but would be contributing to the couchsurfing idea, i.e. bringing good stories, sharing knowledge, or cooking ideas? I have come to realize many members tend to use the idea of couchsurfing to personally benefit themselves, which is wrong. So if you send me a couch request, and get nothing in return, there is only one reason for it. You didnt read my profile, and instead you sent out a blanket request to multiple people. This, in my opinion, is not the reason couchsurfing exists. If you feel you would make good memories, and would like to stay w/ me then feel free to send a request!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met with some couchsurfers before and ended up with a D-list celebrity, in a stretch hummer limo with some local band, and traveled from club to club w/ VIP... to top it off... I blew like $400 on a bottle of Champagne! Good times and hoping more to come!
Interests
I am interested in everything which I believe makes me so unique. I cannot say I am into any certain scene more than the other... I like change, diversity, and a fresh outlook on life. I appreciate meeting new people with different opinions etc. and love a good debate. I play the guitar to ease my mind, and enjoy the company of "real" people. I believe we can all learn something from each other and I try to embrace that with every new connection. I do enjoy the outdoors as evident by my pictures, and I enjoy the water. I would love to someday live on a sailboat.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love acoustic type music... simple and meaningful! Music is the only thing I know that can actually Change my mood... Life without music could be compared to a windless, oceanless, grasless, mountainless, snowless, rainless world. Movies... I like em' all. Books... The Last Lecture, read The Game, I hope they serve beer in hell, a new world by Eckhart Tolle (real good book), hardcore zen by Brad Werner, Zen wrapped in Karma dipped in Chocolate by Brad Werner, Sit down and Shut up by Brad Werner, The God Delusion, Many books on Quantum Physics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
skydiving, flying a plane, barefooting, scuba diving, owning a business, being a firefighter, saving a life, being involved in a horrible car accident, niagara falls, the rocky mountains, driving across the entire USA. Been married... been divorced... lived in a tent.. learned to surf... learned to snowboard , quit a job that most dream about having in order to pursue my dream of living in multiple different locations and meeting more people, became a paramedic on a rescue helicopter, lived w/ my sister, ran out of money, moved my sister out of my house, chased a girl across the country in the pursuit of love, quit another great job, came running back to the amazing job when I realized the girl wasn't worth chasing, lived in my own private pool home, got arrested with my dad on cinco de mayo, been called a faggot, been beaten unconscious, been humbled, came out as being pansexual, inspired others to be themselves all the time, started drinking too much, moved to Scottsdale, got a puppy, now living happily and continuing to move forward, with a smile and an honest heart. Loving every minute of every day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a paramedic instructor, and can certify people in CPR if they want. I can also cook pretty well and love to do it. My forte is definitely medical knowledge... so if you have any questions Please ask me! It is a passion of mine to know the answer... and if I dont... I WILL find it out! lol. I would love to learn more about the outdoors and mother nature in general... like a tour guide for a national park... imagine what they could teach you! Like I said... we all have something to offer! I also would love to learn to be better at guitar, and maybe meet a vocal coach.
