About Me

I may host you ONE OR TWO NIGHTS ONLY. Please keep in mind when making your request. Weekends work much better.! :D

CURRENT MISSION

Teaching somewhere in Central/South America, contributing to alternative education, being part of an autonomous & self sustainable community in Latin America.

ABOUT ME

Weird person. Very open about everything. Brought up as a christian, militant atheist for many years, currently shifting from agnostic to spiritual. Changed my studies many times and towards many different directions (from law school to Organic-Mayan-Rebel-Farming). I love love, and love to love and be loved. I love BOOKS. I love THE WORLD AS A LIVING ORGANISM WHERE WE ARE ALL CONNECTED. But I'm still not sure everything is connected.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't think god (in a religious sense) exists. At a point I wasn't sure we existed, that I existed. I believe my notion of what is good and what is bad comes from my mind and have trouble recognizing that love is, per se, the only "spiritual" or "metaphysical" concept that makes living worth all this complicated situation of being alive.

At the end of the day, I believe I try to walk on the path on the middle, sure that contradictions are inevitable, but am aware that this will take me where I want to go and where the world goes, no matter what.

Still, the hope to make my own path is great. I'm on it. I'm on it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Evaded an existential crisis by: abandoning my college, my car and my flat in Mexico City, biking to Mérida in the Yucatán peninsula and going through a six month training on how to fight against "the system" in a revolutionary Mayan organic farming project!

Bicycled Cuba.

Climbed a bunch of Mexico's Volcanoes.

Swam with alligators in the Caribbean.

Had intense loving experiences in the waterfalls of Chiapas.

Been arrested for sunbathing in the nude.

Wrote really nice poems.

I stopped using some dangerous polluting materials, became very conscious of recycling and managing my waste and the water I consume and pollute.

Changed my point of view radically, sometimes, hehe.

All kinds of drugs.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to LEARN and SHARE as much as I am possible and as much as anyone will let me.

I know how to wash hammocks, travel in Mexico properly.

I can teach how to teach.

I can teach Spanish.

I can teach people and children how to enjoy poetry, books and reading.

I am a big www.TED.com follower.

I want to improve my French, and start learning Portuguese.

Aunque mi perfil está en inglés por practicidad, amo más mi lengua materna, y adoro compartir una buena conversación en ella.

Scrabble & tea. Anytime.

Camping on weekends. :)

Bicycle & motorcycle rides.

Want to learn how to yoga, dance, and cook, if you want to teach these. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

An old bicycle w/lock.

Books. Conversations. Coffee. A few Drinks.

Sometimes, hugs & love.

:P
