ABOUT ME

I believe I can be who ever I wanna be. I just have to believe in it and make it happen.

The first thing a want is to make music. I do that a lot. I play keyboard, I sing, I write music and luckily I also like listening to it a lot. :-)

When I'm not making music I'm exploring so called 'self-helping' topics to improve myself on various areas. I involve my friends in this a lot. I also see it more-and-more as an expertise I can help others with.

When I'm done doing that too I invite people to have a nice chat, take a walk outside, watch a movie or go out for dinner.

I'm always open for new things, but I have my limits.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is fun! If it's not, it should be! And then it is!
Every negative emotion is putting effort in something you don't want to focus on. I try to as much as possible focus on what I want and then find ways to get that. In that way I'm always positive.
I stop worrying about things I cannot influence. I want to learn from others and let others learn from me!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually, I'm not here to offer a bed for you. I would be able to, and maybe I will in the future. But not now.

Now is all about my upcoming adventure in Thailand. I will be leaving in March 2010 and stay in Asia for 5 months. My idea is to stay in Thailand most of the time, but as I have to leave the country twice anyway (for visa-run) I might be visiting Laos, Cambodja, Vietnam and/or Malaysia as well.

I'm looking forward to meet people who are travelling through Thailand at the same time, but maybe even more for the local people who want to meet a Dutch guy!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the moment I do not have any specific CouchSurfing experience, but I do have experience in meeting new people via the Internet.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Perform on stage with a band and sing pop/rock songs for around 100 people.

I've met local people in Brazil via a colleague. We went out in Sao Paulo and we had a very nice time. I love the locals, they are so pure!

The Iguaçu waterfalls on the border of Brazil and Argentina. A sight I will never forget!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I'm willing to share all the knowledge that I gained by reading and discussing the self-help books, the psychological books. Among others: The power of now, Flow, Getting things done, The secret, What the bleep do we know, etc.

I'm also going to learn how to meditate by going in retreat in Thailand.

I'm willing to show my singing skills. I'm open for musical expiriments on writing new songs togethers, etc.
