Hey!
My name is Timea. I've recently moved back home to Slovakia- after a looong time living abroad. Therefore I'm rather a semi-local and will be happy to rediscover Bratislava with travellers.
I love learning about new cultures, practising different languages that I know and having a chat about politics, history and life! I also enjoy being in the nature but a 5-day trek in a camp might be too much for me ;)
I'm rather an introvert but open-minded and talkative.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would prefer to stay with locals instead of going to a hostel, because it's less impersonal and a good opportunity to get to know the country and its people.

I haven't got a favourite book or movie but I like foreign language movies (Turkish, French, Italian, Arabic, Israeli, Spanish...) and books which are set in different countries (Mohsin Hamid, Khaled Hosseini...). From series: The House of Cards, Grace and Frankie, The Crown, Cuéntame cómo pasó, Yargı, Erkenci Kuş, Dogs of Berlin...

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to practise any of the languages I speak, help with English, give tips about studying/working abroad plus internship opportunities (AIESEC, ESC..) and of course exchange travel experiences.
I like doing sports-yoga, swimming, tennis, volleyball, gym...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't mind buying some food in exchange for accommodation.
