About Me

Hello Everyone! My name is Aaron, and I love traveling the world. I am I just graduated college, but that won't stop me from experiencing all of the cultures this world has to offer.

I guess first and foremost I am a musician. I have been playing guitar and singing for about 13 years now. In life, there is nothing better than a good jam session with friends! It is also how I make a living. I started on the streets playing guitar and now I play small shows. I released my first album about a year ago. Check it out here: aaronspiromusic.com

The other half of me is a graduated business guy working in downtown Seattle. I spend my days working for a company that helps put people back to work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a very bad addiction for traveling. But to me, going to hotels every night does not give you the real experience of the cultures and traditions around the world.

I am on CS because I want to meet some amazing people, and experience all of the wonders that the world offers, not just those out of a hotel window. What better way of seeing a new place than staying with someone who lives and breathes the air every day.

I have gone to over 45 countries so far and I won't stop anytime soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Vulfpeck, Andy Grammer, Eric Hutchinson, Joe Brooks, Jason Mraz, Ben Rector.
Movies: Anything Jim Carrey is always excellent!
TV: Parks and recreation, White Collar, Lost.
Books: Anything in Science Fiction or personal growth gets me going.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played in an orchestra during the 2008 Beijing Olympics in China. That was probably the most substantial thing I have done in my life, but the most amazing thing I have done is probably played guitar with Andy Grammer and Eric Hutchinson, two of my favorite artists. Hopefully in the future I can play with Joe Brooks and Jason Mraz.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer an easy guest that will be very grateful for the stay. I hope to bring in a slice of the United States, and take back some knowledge of wherever I am staying as well. There is nothing better than getting a beer and telling some amazing life stories. Hopefully I can provide a great experience into the host's home, offer to buy a dinner, and get to know the person I am staying with. You have a chance to help change my life and cultural experiences! Thank you!
