About Me

Urban sketcher and sightseeing hunter, I do postcards with my drawings and budget tours to top attractions and hidden gems of Transnistria. Honestly, I can’t make Maldives of my country, because it is not Maldives. But i can make an unforgettable journey through all contrasts of what it really is - beautiful panoramas and impressive soviet lost places, curious history and nowadays life in the country that doesn't exist, combining classic walk with forays for true explorers and adventurers.

Extended private city tours and full day tour available now, they all start in Tiraspol but transfer by car from Chishinau or Odessa is an option too! Additional projects:
LEARNING RUSSIAN via SKYPE and VIBER. 10€ per hour. It really works as Transnistria has three national languages and my first lanuage is russian. Plus there is no corny accent of russian speakers in my country, you will see that.

Sketchexchange
I've got this crazy idea to exchange pictures with artists from different countries. So my flat would be full of drawings in frames on the walls, maybe only graphic sketches or watercolor cityscapes, but real, stylish, from Paris, Rome, London, Prague and elsewhere, whoever answers my request. Any place may fit, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I will send my sketches of Transnistria in return, let’s use post mail, no need to send a wooden frame, only the sketch between two cartons in an envelope. Size A5, A6, A4. Besides drawings we may exchange some souvenirs like friendship bracelets or authentic amulets, local coins, post stamps, writings or anything.

Music
All travelling musicians, let's jam together, comrades!:)
If you ever visit eastern Europe don't forget to drop by, take your band to play in one of Transnistria pubs or a concert hall. If you are not scared by horror stories or hostile propaganda, just tour here and you won't forget it.
And, man, I'd love to travel to Europe, Paris, Rome, Prague and all. Cheers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've met my true love and we've got married:)

I dream to travel together to Paris, Rome, Prague, London, Montenegro, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bruge, st. Anton, Baikal, Siberia, Saint Petersburg, Moscow and Sochi. But we live in an unrecognized country and there a lot of things we need to make that trip in the real life. But now....... we are going to make a movie travel around the world! Just scratch a pencil on the map, and watch a movie from every country on the way by recommendation of couchsurfer friends from that exact land:) Maybe one day that turns into the real travel, who knows:) Thanks for cooperation, fellas!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you ever happen to go to Transnistria, you are already full of cliches. And you know, some of what you’ve heard is true. The truth is, you are in a country that doesn’t exist, but it does. It has three national languages. It has marshrutkas and trolleybuses. Good wine and cognac. Soviet legacy within monuments and architecture. River Dniester between green hills and valleys. Old Turkish fortress in Bendery where Carl XII was hiding from Peter the Great. And the folk. Hey, I just don’t want to give it all out, but tell you one more thing. Pridnestrovie is unrecognized country. Just come and see. And decide for yourself if it deserves recognition.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can also find cheap separate flat if needed, it is about 20-25 euro per night.
