ABOUT ME
To be honest, the reason I am joining CS right at the moment is that I am trying to find somewhere to stay during the climate change meetings in Copenhagen. BUT... I would like to stay active in the CS community, and my house has already started hosting people.
I'm Canadian, went to school in Canada and the UK, and now I have been working in Hanoi, Vietnam for a little more than a year.
The environment is my passion professionally and personally, and I'm hoping my work here contributes in some small way to healthier forests in Vietnam, and a slow down in the frightening advance of climate change.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Personally I am just getting started on CS, but my house (member: "Giang Waow") has hosted a few people (two women from Belgium about to arrive as I type this).
Interests
In my free time, I like hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, biking, and ultimate frisbee. And music, although I'm not much of a player myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done 3 canoe trips in the Canadian Arctic that were 50+ days and 1000+ km each. One as a participant (in 1998) and two as a leader (in 2004 and 2006). All three were a privilege and an amazing experience.
