ABOUT ME

Im 27, from Melbourne, with big dreadlock who is currently a studet of the world. I have started a 12 month long trip, starting in south east asia, europe and then to South America. Along the way i am travelling on and off with my girlfriend, my cousin and anyone else who i meet along the way who is heading in the same direction.Before leaving home i resigned from my job, Shipped everthing back to my parents and put a cover over my Kombi.
This is my second 12 month trip around the world and im hoping that with couch surfing that i get to meet some really great people in some really amazing places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never actually couch surfed through this web site. I have met people along the way and ended up staying with them in their homes but apart from that i guess you could say that im a couchSurfing virgin.

Interests

I am a groundsman and a horticulturalist so i love to be outside. Apart from the work i do, in summer i like to surf when i can, im not very good but i give it a go. I play the guitar and sing and used to play regular gigs around melbourne. I like to read and i really love the beach. I also hve a Kombi to so as often as i can i get out in that and go camping.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies i like are anything by the coen brothers, i like some art house films and anything that is based on a true story.

Books i like are usually about a true stories,travel wrighting, biographys and historical events. But i have started to get into the odd novel.

And Music. I love roots music! Reggae, blues, folk and soul. Thats what i play too! But i do appreciate anytype on music where you can hear a good musician!
I hate top ten, chart topping, glorifyed karaoke!!!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My last trip overseas, i lived in london for 6 months. While i was there i worked at the Wimbledon tennis Championships. For me being a groundsman it was a dream come true. After that i for three months i travel in a van down the west coast of mexico with friends stoping and surfing where ever the waves where good. I could list a heap more things and they where probably all seen while traveling.
So Id say Travelling for me has been the most exciting and rewarding thing that i have ever experianced.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think you learn somthing off nearly anyone you spend enough time with. I dont know what i could teach anyone but i guess there is only one way to find out and meet you. I can definatly share, and though sharing stories im sure that we will end up with somthing that we didnt know about each other and i supose that is learning.
